Do I need an Architect for my project?
The short answer is that Architectural Drawings are needed for new homes/additions and when making changes to load bearing walls. It's also necessary when making major changes to electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC. But your General Contract will know for sure.
However, beyond the need is the benefit to hiring an architect. We all know that home projects are costly and relatively permanent. Having an Architect or Designer guide you will help ensure that you have a feasible plan that efficiently addresses your wants and needs in a way that fits your style. Much like interior design, you can often tell when a home has a "professional touch".
How much do you charge?
Every project is unique and requires a consultation to fully understand the scope of work. Consultations are free of charge, last about an hour, a great time to ask questions and to see if we are a good fit. We will follow up with a proposal that includes pricing and a timeframe. You will find us reasonable and a great value!
Can you walk me through your design process?
Yes, our design process starts with a comprehensive understanding of your needs, preferences, and budget. We then conduct research on your site and surrounding area, taking into account the local architecture, history, and community / HOA requirements. We use this information to create the schematic design, which we present to you for feedback. Based on your feedback, we refine the design until we arrive at a final concept that meets your needs and expectations. Throughout the design process, we prioritize clear and regular communication with you to ensure that your needs are being met so that the end reslut is just right!
How do you handle changes or revisions during the design process?

We stay up to date with all relevant building codes and safety requirements and work closely with contractors and engineers to ensure that the design meets all necessary regulations. We also conduct regular site visits to ensure that construction is proceeding as planned and to address any issues that may arise.
